The original version of Dream of Peace is the opening track to Peace to Mateo’s 2018 album “Some Strange Reason.” New York hip-hop producer Blockhead took the elements of Matt’s song and created something wholly unique that nods to and plays off of the original recording.

“Blockhead’s production style has always been a major influence on me, so having him remix my song was a really cool, and surreal experience.” Mateo said in reference to receiving the remix.
