One of two new signees Young Heavy Souls announced in the fall of 2023 was Detroit duo CC Nobody. The group released “That Was Then, This Is Nobody” in April 2022 to showcase a collection of their early demos. This release is what caught the attention of YHS, so as they prepare their debut label release, we thought it’d be a great time to showcase their previous work with a short run of cassettes.

Arriving later this month, “That Was Then This is Nobody” is the perfect introduction to the band that displays their ability to craft catchy alternative pop without losing their experimental sensibilities.
